When I was a kid we ate the unfrosted ones with butter melted on them. So good!

Unpopular opinion: cherry pop tarts are the best pop tarts

Don’t drag beer into this, lol.

Yes. Especially when it’s warm and the inside is just so. Perfect.

It costs £3.50/$4.36 usd for 8 pop tarts at my local Tesco. Explains why pop tarts are more popular in North America.

I suddenly feel the need for an insulin shot after reading this.
But more urgently, I feel the need to go buy some unfrosted Pop-tarts to try this.

Hot toasted S’mores Pop-tart and a big, ice cold glass of milk was my college breakfast for many years. How I never developed diabeetus the first two years, living on campus, with that diet, I will never know.

Cheap and processed: the only true way to distinguish “American cuisine.” ^_^

When I went to the US a few years ago I was astounded by how cheap everything was in terms of food. I remember drinking some Fanta then look at the ingredients because it looked and tasted different to what we have back home, so many sweeteners and so much high fructose corn syrup.
Dirt cheap and tasted acceptable.

I’ve heard making them into ice cream sandwiches is also delicious. I have strawberry pop tarts and strawberry ice cream - I’ll report back.

Same but in reverse for digestive biscuits in USA :(
Although after about a year or so away I’d probably willingly pay £13.50 for 8 Pop-Tarts

Word! Cherry Pop-Tarts are best Pop-Tarts

Digestives, now there’s a biscuit! I prefer OG digestives but there’s some wonderful chocolate coated ones. To be fair to the poptarts I saw some today in Tesco on offer for £1.99 for 8. I don’t buy digestives or poptarts all that often anymore, which is a shame for my tastebuds but great for my waistline.
